During the last few months of my time up north, my mind began to focus on my home state. The fauna of Florida has always felt unearthly and ancient. Like being surrounded by dinosaurs. I set out to make an installation that captured the chunky scales and awkward stance of reptiles and birds I grew up around. This work is currently being reconfigured into a new installation, so stay tuned.
