Creating Installations

I think of installations as a sum larger than its parts. Like a coral reef or the scales on an alligator, all the small pieces add up to create an entity or crowd. Enlisting the natural shifts and slumps that happen to translucent porcelain during a kiln firing, I hope to imply movement within the installations I make. To take up space, alter reality a bit, and transport the viewer.

Every single piece of artwork is created from start to finish exclusively by me. I do not use AI in any way, and I never will.
I believe in handmade art, and that the creative process cannot be duplicated, rushed, or generated. The magic is in the process.
